Helping Others Tell Others About Jesus

through Evangelism, Discipleship, & Leadership Development and Property Management.

David

David's journey began in PA where he came to know Christ at just five years old and surrendered his life to whatever God had for him at 15. After high school graduation, David attended Word of Life Bible Institute (New York) and York Technical College (SC) where he received his diploma in HVAC.  David has completed his Bachelor of Ministry from Covington Theological Seminary in August, 2019 and has already begun courses to complete a Master's degree.  Dave was the service manager for a commercial air filtration company in Charlotte, NC for 17 years before being called to serve in Mexico.  Dave's journey has also taken him on several short-term mission trips and has allowed him to be actively involved in both the audio/video and student ministries in the local church.  After serving several years as a youth leader at Calvary Baptist Church, he served as the interim student pastor then middle school director before God moved him to serve as the student pastor in 2008 at Westerly Hills Baptist Church where he also focused on leadership development for nine years.  Dave works closely with Pastor  Thomas Beard in Mexico, assisting with church planting, leadership development, evangelism and property management.

Melanie

Melanie's journey began in SC.  She was actively involved in her home church, Calvary Baptist, and was a graduate of Trinity Christian School where she came to know Christ as her personal Savior in the second grade and surrendered to whatever God had for her at 15.  Her journey with God has taken her on short-term mission trips to Russia, Portugal, and throughout the United States where God led her to begin working with teenagers.  Melanie received her B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences and her M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Winthrop University where she was an instructor for nine years.  Melanie has been active in the youth ministry at her home church as well as her sending church, Westerly Hills Baptist Church, where she has served alongside her husband since 2008 and where her dad was the pastor for 26 years.  She loves to see people realize God has a great plan for each of us and desires to have a deep relationship with us.  Melanie's greatest prayer is to remain faithful throughout the journey.  Currently, she teaches children's classes in four different churches here in Mexico and teaches our two children in our home.

Ethan

Ethan's journey began with a rough start, but he has powered through with great tenacity!  He loves Legos, video games, music, and reading.  Three years in a row, Ethan received the humor/personality award at school for his class.  He is definitely full of personality!  Since moving to Mexico, he has been learning how to play the guitar and using his interests to share the Gospel with those around him.  He is a fun-loving, outgoing pre-teen, and we are excited to see how God continues his journey.

Emily

Emily's journey began after much prayer for her arrival, especially from her older brother. Emily is also outgoing like her brother and loves making people laugh.  Melanie always says we should have named her "Emily Joy" because she is full of life and has brought much joy to our family.  We can't wait to see how God continues her journey as well.  Since moving to Mexico, her greatest asset that God uses every day to connect with people her is her ability to speak and understand Spanish.  The people think this blonde-headed American girl speaking Spanish is just astounding.
