Many know that we have been sick for a week or so. We have both tested positive for COVID-19. Melanie has had a cold with no sense of taste or smell. Dave has been hit a little harder with extreme fatigue. Per Mexico guidelines, we have to stay inside our home 14 days from the day of a positive test. Fines and/or prison are the penalties if we don’t comply. Please pray for our ministry partner Jorge Sauceda as he continues to minister to our Churches.

Tomorrow is an important day. We appreciate your prayers not only for the election, but also for our appointment with the Mexican consulate at 9:30 CST to begin our residency visa application. A lot of work has gone into collecting the necessary paperwork and we pray it is sufficient for our applications to be accepted.

Day of the Dead. All Saint’s Day. Día de Los Muertos. This is the holiday happening right now in Mexico. Today and tomorrow, people will fill the cemeteries in hopes they can be reunited with their loved ones who have already passed. Thankfully, we do have a hope in Christ. We can know that the only way we can see our loved ones again who have died being saved in Christ is to accept Him as our personal Savior as well.
